What does the graph, Um, why equals negative one look like you probably recognize that this is a constant function, and so it's going to be a straight line that's either horizontal or vertical that a lot of people get confused by which one is which. This is a horizontal line going through. Why equals negative one on the Why access? But if you're at all confused or uncertain, you can always just use an X Y table and generate some points to see what it's supposed to look like. You can pick any hex values you like. It doesn't matter. And so when you choose X equals negative three, how do you know what Y equals? Will it tell you right here? Why equals negative one when X equals zero? Why equals negative one when X equals two? Hey y equals negative one So you can create any number of points that you want to make yourself feel comfortable with. Graphing this and then brought those points. So negatives. Very negative. One zero negative one to negative one and seven negative one, and then you can see very clearly that this is a horizontal line. Going through y equals negative one
