At the outlet, section $(2),$ the pressure, average velocity, and elevation are 45 kPa (gage), $3.5 \mathrm{m} / \mathrm{s}$ and $3 \mathrm{m}$, respectively. Calculate the head loss in meters. Convert to units of energy per unit mass.
