for this question, we want to both estimate and find the actual answer for 3627 divided by nine. First comes our estimate, 3627 will get rounded up to 4000. It's the closest number that only has one non zero digit nine becomes 10. And when we eliminate the common zeros, this just becomes 400 divided by one, which is just equal to 400. Any number divided by itself is just the same number. So 400 is our estimate. And now on to the actual long division setting up. I have 3627 and nine on the outside. Nine goes into 30 times, nine times zero is zero and I subtract to get three. Bring that down. The six to get 36 nine goes into 36 4 times and nine times four is equal to 36. Subtract to get zero and bring down the to nine goes into 20 times nine times zero is zero and subtract to get to bring down the seven nine goes into 27 3 times. Nine times three is 27. And when we subtract, we get zero, meaning that we have no remainder. So our final answer is 403 for the precise calculation, and that's it. Our estimate wasn't too far off.
