Okay, If you look at two times 30 why equals two times 30? Then why? You'll see that both sides of the equation have the exact same components. There's a two times of 30 times a why. What's changing is what's groups together, okay, and that property is going to be the associative property. The associative property is what moves the groupings around in an equation. In this particular one, it's the associative property of multiplication because we're dealing with a multiplication problem versus if it was an addition problem, you would call it the associative property of addition. Okay, And the way I like to remember this is think of like a firm with associates. They're all working for the same company. But they grouped themselves differently, depending on the job. So that's the associative property off multi application.
