So let's look at different traits and try and see if they could apply to both because if one applies to one but not the other, we know that is going to be the distinguishing property.

So the first one that we can look at is a cell wall, which hopefully we're familiar with a little bit.

And dna, deoxyribose nucleic acid, is just going to be sort of the blueprint having the plans of how an organism is going to develop and carry out different functions, right? of course, eukaryotes have that.
