Okay.
00:02
Let's say you love psychology.
00:09
Everything about psychology is super great, really interesting.
00:13
And, you know, maybe you also have like billions of dollars.
00:22
So money is no object to you.
00:26
The question that i'm posing here is asking more or less why would someone get a more advanced degree, like a master's of arts in psychology? or a phd in psychology, or a sci -die in psychology, if they really didn't care about more money, because maybe they already had enough.
00:48
But they also really loved psychology.
00:52
What are some reasons that maybe someone would do something like that? well, let's unpack this a little bit more.
00:58
So there's actually quite a few reasons that it would be really important and good and fulfilling to get a higher education in psychology.
01:08
For some people, they have big questions.
01:23
Maybe they want to understand a little bit more about how to sell a better product.
01:27
Or maybe they want people to get better sleep at night, but most people don't know how to do that.
01:34
And they want to learn about how to successfully encourage people to get better sleep at night.
01:40
Having some of these big questions is one of the main reasons i think people pursue things like a master's or a phd.
01:47
Because they can do the research to figure out these questions.
01:52
What's another reason someone might get an advanced degree in psychology? gosh, well, a lot of people you hear that they really want to help someone...
