this tutorial goes through questions 67 from chapter one section to practice. We're told to perform the given operation and then simplify if possible. So the operation here is multiplication. So we're being asked to multiply two numbers and in what did you do that we need our numbers of using format. So currently we have a whole number and attraction. I'm going to convert that whole number into a fractured simply by putting it over one. Now I can write this with are my numbers in the same four. So this turns into 16/1 times 3/2 and the girls for multiplying fractions is that we take the product of a new warrior. Enumerators, which is 48 16 times three is 48. And then we put that over the product of the denominators in one times two is two. I know it and asked to simplify. And the division of the fraction by actually represents the division sign. It's dividing. So this is the same as 48 divided by two. And that is 24. So this is the simple high days
