Mr Tutorial goes through solving problem. One who ate from Chucky one section to practice. We're told to perform given operations and then simplify of possible. Our operation here is multiplication. And we have mixed numbers, so we actually can't multiply mixed numbers. We have to convert them into in the proper action. So my first mixed number has 16th. That's the fraction pieces. So it takes 16 16th to make a whole Well, I have three holes. So three holes with 16. 16 siege. Here's 48 16th on and I have an extra 16 which makes 49 16. So I'm gonna rewrite this improper fraction hand. Then I am going todo this anything from my second mixed number. Except this time, my fraction pieces are seventh, the 7/7 to make a hole, I have four of them. So four holes with 7/7. Beach makes 28 7th and I have four extra seven, so I actually have 32 shit. So I'm gonna write that improper fraction equivalent improper fraction up here and now I can do the multiplication Well. The rule for multiplying fractions is that we take the product of the numerator Sze and put that over the product of the denominators. Well, I really don't want to multiply 49 times to do, too. So what I could do instead is I can break those down into factors to try and divide out some common factors before I have to multiply the actual Reuters and denominators 49. I can break down into seven times seven and 32. I can break down into eight times for 16 is two times eight and seven is just seven. So this lets me see that they share a seven so I can factor that out. They also share in eight so I can factor that out and I'm left with seven times four. And that's gonna factor in the break that down more now into two times two. And then to hear so that kissing another common factor. So I'm left with seven times 2/1 because two divided by two equals one. So seven times do is 14/1 and 14 over. One can simplify to the whole number 14. That is my product
