and this problem we're being asked to perform to given operation while for this particular problem were being asked to add two to given Paulino meals on the reason why we know this is because in between both sets of parentheses, there's a plus side. Well, how do we add Paulino meals? Well, we're going to use to community and associative properties to regroup and reorder our terms so that our late terms are together. So let's look at our first term three x squared. It has a late term off three X squared so we can group those together as the quantity of three X squared plus three x word. Our next term is negative. Three. Ex Well, it has a light term, a positive for X so we can group those together. So we'll do, plus the quantity of negative three x plus four X. Our next term is negative to which has a light term of negative three so we can group those together, so we'll have, plus the quantity of negative to minus tree. Now we simply need to combine our life terms. So let's look at our first set of parentheses. We have three x squared, plus three ex words. Well, three plus three is six, so we'll have six acts square. Our second set of parentheses says Negative three X plus four x Will Negative three plus four is one. So we'll have positive one X and our last set of prophecies. We have negative two minus three, which is negative. Five, so we can leave this as our final answer. However, if you know this in our middle term, we have positive one. Next. Remember, when you have one as a coefficient, it doesn't necessarily have to be written, so this final answer could also be written as six X squared plus X minus five.
