we're being asked to subtract negative four w to the third plus five w squared plus 7.6 from W to the third minus 15 w squared. Well, because we're being asked to subtract the first polynomial from the second, I'm going to use vertical form to do this. And when I do, the second polynomial is actually going to go for the first row. So we're gonna have w to the third minus 15 w square. And that means our first polynomial is going to go in the second row. So we're going to subtract the first polynomial, which was negative for W to the third plus five w squared plus 7.6. Well, one subtracting Paulino meals. Remember, We're going to need to change the sign of each of the terms in that second row. So here's what's gonna happen. Our first row is going to stay the same. It's going to stay w to the third, minus 15 w square. And again, what we need to do is change each of the signs within that prophecy so that negative four w to the third is going to become positive for W to the third. The positive. Five w Squared will become negative. Five w squared and the positive 7.6 will become negative 7.6. And now we can go ahead and combine our like terms when in each call. So let's look at the first call we have w to the third plus four w to the third. Remember, there's an imagine everyone in front of that W to the third. Well, one plus four is five, so we have five w to the third. In the second call, we have negative. 15 w squared minus five w squared. Well, negative 15 minus five is negative. 20. So you have negative 20 w squared. And then the last call. We have negative 7.6. So because there's nothing else, we just need to bring down negative 7.6. So our final answer is five W to the third minus 20 w squared minus seven points
