We're looking for the organism that is a D composer and has on me Boyd, Vegetative state. Those are our two key words that are gonna help us choose the right answer. So D composer means that it eats dead stuff. It decomposes dead material And me, Boyd, vegetative states. So this the phrase that has a vegetative state? The word state tells me that there are more than two states of this organism. Okay, so let's see what we have here. Um, well, three of our choices are brown algae, fella, mentis, algae, and red algae and algae are photosynthetic. That means that they make their own food. They don't need to eat to eat dead stuff to live. Okay? They're not the composer's. They're actually producers. So the algae. None of the algae can be our answers because they're not the composer's there autotrophs their producers. They make food. Now let's look at slime mould and water mold. They're both molds. And, um, we kind of know that mold grows on stuff, so we're kind of along the right track here, and both of these guys are growing on stuff. But if you notice the water mold is growing on live plans, and the slime mould is growing on dead plans. So from this ah, from these facts alone, I would be inclined to say that the slime mould is our correct answer. Right, because this guy's growing on a life plan. This is actually a parasite, all right, because it is using the plant to grow, and it's not giving anything bad to the plant. It's actually harmful to the plant. It's killing it in the process. The slime mould, the tree trunk that's fallen here is already dead, right? So it's not harming it is just decomposing it. Now, let's look at the life cycle off the slime a little bit deceived if it fits our second criteria and this is ah, diagram. So the slime mould that Ah, we saw on, uh, this page right here. That yellow guy growing on the tree though the teach drunk Um, that's ah, we switched back to the pen here. That's this guy right here. That's the mature plasmodium and the truth. Plasmodium makes this spore. Angie, Um, uh, which is a fruiting body and the spirit and geum makes these spores and the spores can then go either to become a nun, me, Boyd cell or this fledge elated cell which are happ Lloyd's. And then these guys can then come back together to form a deployed psycho. So we can see right here that for the slime mould their part of its life cycle, it can be on a movie. Ameobi its self so are correct. Answer is D slime ALS.
