in this problem. We're going to start by plotting the point, Bob and 1/2 negative four. And then we'll be able to discover which quadrant this point lives in. So let's start plotting our point. So let's review the axis. Remember that going left to right, we have our X axis and going up and down on the grid. On the graph, we have our why access? We always began with our X coordinate. First, our X coordinate is 5.5, and it is positive. So from our origin, we're gonna move over 5.5 units. So we're gonna be actually right here in between the five and the six are why coordinate is negative four. So since it's negative, we're going to go down four units. So our point of five and 1/2 negative four will lie right here now to review our quadrants. We always begin in the upper right hand side, and we go counterclockwise. So we have quadrant one quadrant, two, 103 in quadrant four. So the point 5.5 negative four lies in quadrant four
