Positive and negative charges are attracted to one another. Which of the following are attracted to a negative charge: an electron, a proton, a neutron, a nucleus, an atom? Explain your thinking.
Since electron is itself negative, it cannot attract negative charge. Neutron is charge less and atom iselectrically neutral because no of electrons and protons is same. Protons are positively charged. So they get charged towards negative charge

anything that is positively charged is attracted to a negative charge. And when we're looking at and Adam, the two things that we could classify as having a positive charge would be a Proton or the nucleus itself that is made up of protons and neutrons that have no charge for the net. Charge of the nucleus is positive. An electron would be repelled by a negative charge, and a neutron would have no attraction or repulsion to a negative charge because its neutral as within Adam itself being neutral.
