Positive Feedback Loop

A positive feedback loop is a process in which an initial stimulus leads to a response that amplifies that stimulus, creating a cycle of continued increase in the response. Endocrine System Regulation

The endocrine system maintains balance within the body primarily through feedback mechanisms. Oxytocin and Lactation

Oxytocin is a hormone that plays a key role in lactation by initiating contractions in the mammary glands. During breastfeeding, the stimulation of the nipple triggers the release of oxytocin, which in turn causes milk ejection. This process creates a positive feedback loop as more nursing leads to more oxytocin release, further facilitating milk release.
