Reaction Conditions

Stereoselectivity

Regioselectivity
This concept explains the preference for a chemical bond to form at one direction or position over all other possible positions in a molecule. It is critical when multiple reactive sites are available, as the major product will usually come from the more favored site in terms of electronic and steric factors.
