Hello, so today we're going to be talking about unimolecular, bimolecular, and termin molecular reactions.
00:09
So a unimolecular reaction involves one molecule, and basically it's just the molecule breaking apart into parts.
00:22
A bimolecular reaction involves two molecules coming together, colliding, and they make a new product.
00:37
A term molecular reaction involves three particles colliding and making a product or products.
00:55
So why are there no zero molecular reactions? well, if you think about it, well, you need a molecule to react, right? you can't just make something out of nothing, so zero molecular wouldn't really make sense.
01:13
And term molecular reactions are very fairly rare, and there usually aren't any reactions that involve more than three molecules colliding.
01:30
Because think about it.
01:32
Like unimolecular think of person walking, then, oh, they slip and fall.
01:37
That involves one person.
01:40
And that happens.
01:41
It's fairly common...
