Rentals. Use the information in the newspaper advertisement to write a linear equation that gives the amount of income $A$ (in dollars) the apartment owner will receive when the unit is rented for $m$ months.

here we have a summary of the information from the problem for renting the apartment. There's a $250 security fee, and when you see something like that, a flat fee that you have to pay no matter how many months. Ah, you rent the apartment, you can think of that as your Y intercept. That's just the basic amount to start with. And then you see $500 a month for rent. That's a rate that's a rent rate. And when you see a rate, you want to think of that as your slope and then for our ex, um, variable. We're using em to stand for the number of months and for our why Variable we're using ages stand for the amount of money. So when we put that all together into the form, why equals MX plus B, we have a for or why we have 500 for our slope. We have M for a number of months, and we have 250 for our flat fee. That's the Y intercept. So that's the equation that models that situation
