we're being asked to simplify this expression. So the first thing we have to do is remove the parentheses by using the distributive property. So let's start with that first set of prophecies. Well, in front of the first set of promises, I have a minus sign. But remember, there is Imagine everyone attached that from Fizzy. So we need to distribute the negative one to both of those terms. So we're gonna do negative one time, see which is negative one. See, then we need to do negative one times positive too, which is negative too. Now, in front of our second set of prophecies, we have the positive five, which needs to get distributed to both terms in that second prophecy. So we're gonna have positive five times three, which is positive. 15. And then we're gonna have positive five times Negative Z, which is negative. Five z. Now we're gonna go ahead and combine our like terms. So let's start with our first term negative one z. Well, it's like term is negative. Five z. So we just need to combine those coefficients while negative one minus five is negative six. So we'll have negative six z now Our next term is minus two. Well, it has a late term. A positive 15. Well, negative. Two plus 15 is positive. 13. So now we've combined all of our life terms, so nothing else can be simplified fervor. So our final answer will be negative six z plus 13.
