Sketch the indicated curves by the methods of this section. You may check the graphs by using a calculator. An electric circuit is designed such that the resistance $R$ (in $\Omega$ ) is a function of the current $i$ (in $m A$ ) according to $R=75-18 i^{2}+8 i^{3}-i^{4} .$ Sketch the graph if $R \geq 0$ and $i$ can be positive or negative.

were given this circuit that I've drawn here in black um and were asked to figure out what is the resistance between points A and B. This is basically just um you know kind of lumping resistors together and finding frequent out of through in parallel or series. Yeah. So what I did is I took these two resistors here and we can see that their ends are connected so they're in serious. So I replaced I mean they're in parallel so I replaced these two with this one in red here. So basically and take these two out and replace it with this one here. And that resistance is just the resistance of these two that are in parallel. And so that's six times three or 18 divided by six plus three, which is nine. So that is to our I guess these all have just are as 10 homes in this case. But you know these are all given in terms of our so this this this equivalent resistor here winds up being too are. So now we can see this and and basically this is ours. Point A. Right. So now we have this circuit here and we can see that this one and this one these resistors are in series, so I lump those together. This was to our This one here is to are and this is our so this one is three. Are these lumped together and these ones lumped together is six. Are And so now you can see that these two equivalent resistances in parallel. So the equivalent resistance of them. If we lump them together into one, we get six are times three R. Which is 18 R squared divided by six R. Plus three R. Which is nine are and that winds up being too are. So if our is 10 homes, then this equivalent resistance between A&B. is 20 homes

If you write pi (to the first two decimal places of 3.14) backwards, in big, block letters it actually reads "PIE".
