all right. I have another decimal problem that I want to turn into a non decimal problem. So let's look at it first. I have 0.9 times T plus 50 plus 0.15 t equals 52.5. All right, those decimals air just gonna be a nightmare. So what I want to do is look at the farthest out place that I end up with. This one is in the 100 spot. This one, the 15 ends in the 100 spot, and this one is only in the 10 spot. But that's OK. I'd rather over clear it, then under clear it. So I'm gonna multiply everything by 100 and that will allow me to clear out these decimals. So 100 temps 1000.9 is nine. And then I have it times the tea plus 50 that is still there, plus 0.15 times. 100 is 15 t equals Okay, And then I have the The 0.5 has a zero after and remember that having these two zeros is basically multiplying in such a way that you'll have the decimal move to over. So I'm looking at 5250 on the left. Okay, so next What I'm gonna dio is I'm going to distribute on. I mean, on the right. I'm sorry. 5250 on the right. So on the left, I was kind of jumping the gun. I'm gonna go ahead and distribute, and I have 90 plus 450 plus 15 t equals 50 to 50. Next, what I want to do is combine like terms. So 90 and 15 t is 24 t plus 4 50 equals 5250. So then what I want to do is I want to get my tea value alone. So I'm gonna go ahead and subtract this 4 50 to do that, and I end up with 24. T equals 4800. And last but not least since I want to get my tea alone, I'm going to divide by 24 to undo the multiplication there. And I end up with t equals 200. Okay, we need to check that this is actually going to work, so I'll do that right down here. I'm gonna plug in this version because it's easier than the decimals. It'll still work because it's just 100 times larger. So nine times 200 plus 50 plus 15 times 200 does it equal 50 to 50 or 5250? All right, so nine times 250 that is 2250 and 15 times 200 that is 3000. And when you add those together, you do indeed get 5250 so this works and T equals 200.
