this time we're going to solve T equals 70 minus 9/16. And this one is a little confusing because people go well, it already says t equals. But remember, we have this tea hanging out over here, so we still actually have to do some work here. And I'm not loving the fractions or right off the bat. Oops, I'm gonna go ahead. And that's my giant eraser pencil. I'm gonna go ahead and multiply by 16 to clear out the denominator, and I have to do it on both sides to keep the balance. So on the left will have 16 t on the right, the 16 and 16 cross off, leaving me with 70 minus nine. Since I want all my variables together, I'm gonna go ahead and subtract the 70 to the other side. Since the subtracting will undo the positive 70 and I'm left with nine t equals negative. Nine. Since nine is multiplied by T, I'm gonna go ahead and undo that bite of fighting by nine, and I get t equals negative one. Now I need to check to make sure this is truly correct. So let's just plug it right into the original. The black version here So negative one isn't equal to seven times negative one minus 9/16. Or is negative one equal two negative seven minus 9/16 or negative 16/16. And, yes, negative one equals negative, one 30 equals.
