solve the inequality, right? The solution. Set an interval notation, then grab it. We have the inequality. Seven X plus six is greater than equal to negative X minus six. So notice on the right hand side that negative is outside the parentheses of the binomial X minus six. So we want to start by rewriting this inequality without the parentheses, which means we need to distribute that negative. The left side of the inequality is not going to change. Seven X Plus six is greater than or equal to negative X plus six. Let's isolate the variable toe left side of the inequality. Our next step would be to add X to both sides. Giving us eight X plus six on the left is greater than or equal to six on the right to undo the plus six. On the left hand side, we need to subtract six from both sides of the inequality. Eight X is greater than or equal to zero. Now we're left with a product of eight and X on the left is greater than equal to zero on the right. To undo the product, we need to use the universe operation of multiplication, which is division. So divide both sides of the inequality by eight. Eight X, divided by eight, is just X is greater than or equal to zero, divided by eight, which is zero. Our final inequality is X is greater than or equal to zero. So our solution set includes all values that are greater than or equal to zero. So we're going to start on our number line at zero. We need to include the value of zeros. We're gonna use a closed circle, and we're going to shave her number line to the right to include every number that is greater than or equal to zero an interval notation. We start with a bracket at zero, and we're going to close that positive infinity with a parentheses, e.
