Solve each problem using two variables and a system of two equations. Solve the system by the method of your choice. Note that some of these problems lead to dependent or inconsistent systems. On Monday the office staff paid a total of S7.77 including tax for 3 coffees and 7 muffins. On Tuesday the bill was $\$ 14.80$ including tax for 6 coffees and 14 muffins. If the sales tax rate is $7 \%,$ then what is the price of a coffee and what is the price of a muffin?

with the price of coffee and muffins. So coffee is gonna be the price. R C sword is getting praise of coffee, and then the muffins will call em. And what it tells us is that on Monday, three coffees and seven muffins was a total of $7.77 including tax. Okay, And then the second day on Tuesday, it says it was six coffees and 14 muffins, and the cost was $14.80. So what I notice is when I multiply this by two, I get six coffees and 14 muffins is $14. But then more than that, because of the 77 cents Oh, actually, I'm up like 7 77 like Look at 15 54. And this says that six C plus 14 m is actually equal to 14 80. And so what we have is an inconsistent system. It's not possible that the coffee and muffins, the same number coffees and the same number of muffins added together give you two different values from the same place. It's inconsistent, which means there's no solution
