all right way we have to solve the following linear question to W minus seven equals five w 97. So any linear question is simply just two expressions that are equal to each other. And we're going to use the fact that addition and subtraction will under each other on multiplication and division will under each other. And again, it's a linear equation because the W here is raised to the power of one, which is our variable. And the first thing we have to do in order to solve this is we have to simplify it. But it's already a little bit simplified, so we're just going to have to rearrange it to get W to the left side. And in order to do that, we have to get rid of W on this side and move it over here. So what we have to do is subtract five w from both sides off the equation, so we're gonna have to w minus seven minus five w. And that's equal to five w minus seven minus I w. And again, this is just so we could move the double used to the left side of the equation and this is going to be to W minus five. W is simply negative. Www because to minus five is negative three. So we have negative. Www in a seven equals 25 W minus five W zero. So we don't worry about them, which is left with negative. Seven have negative three w minus seven equals negative seven. And we have we want to isolate w so we're gonna have to move negative seven to the other side. In order to do that, we have to add seven. So it's gonna be negative. Three W minus seven plus seven. Both sides of the equation e gotta sound plus seven. So we can already see that the sounds are gonna cancel each other out. So let's call it a friend down Negative three w I think of seven plus seven is just your room so we don't have to write that and then the other side of the equation. Now it's negative seven plus seven, which also equals zero. So now we have negative three w equals zero in order to easily w we just have to divide by negative three because we have negative three times w So we are simply going to divide by negative three you can order and the rightful sides of the equation. We're gonna negative three times w divided by a negative three. And over here, we're gonna have zero divided by a negative three. So what we're going to end up with is negative three divided by negative three is just one. So we have just w on our left side, and that's going to equal to zero. Divided by negative three, which is simply just zero and again could double check this quickly on our original equation. It was to W, which in this case would just be to time zero 997 equals five W, which is again equal to zero in the seven. So this year could time zero and five times zero simply just zero. So we forget about those and we're left with negative seven bulls. Negative seven, which is true. So in this case, w indeed equals zero
