So for this question, we're still gonna be solving linear equations, and we're going to turn itself for the unknown, which is W. And it's a linear equation because W is raised to the power of one. We may use the fact that addition and subtraction under each other and multiplication and division under each other, too. So first up we have to do is simplify this equation. And since we have parentheses here, we're gonna have to essentially multiply each of these numbers by three. So we're gonna have three times for W and also three times negative five and same thing on the right side of the equation. I'm gonna have seven times sign and seven times negative, Www. So what? Just simplify this. Yeah, So we're gonna have three times for W, which is just gonna be 12th of you minus three times five, which is just 15. And then on the right that we're gonna have seven times nine 63 minus sometimes three, which is 21 w. So now what we wanna do is we We wanna move the w used to the left side of the equation and move 15 negative 15 to the right side of the equation. So to do this, we have to add 21 w to both sides of the equation. To get rid of the negative 21 w on the right side, we're gonna have plus 21 w on the left side. We're gonna have 12 w plus 21 W That's 33 W minus 15, supposed to 63 and then the minus one w 21 w plus w. We're gonna cancel each other out. So we're just left with 63. And now we want to add 15 to both sides of the equation to move the negative 15 to the right side. So with this, we're gonna have 33 w on the left side and then the 15th cancel each other out. Then 63 plus 15 is gonna be 78. Finally, we're going to simplify. We're gonna isolate the W. So in order to do this, we have 33 times w so we could just divide this by 33 and again with both sides of the equation on the right side, we're gonna have 78 divided by 33. So we're gonna end up with W I'm 33 divided by 33 which is just one one times W is equal to 78 divided by 33. Now both 78 33 are divisible by three. So we can simplify this answer a little bit further into 78. Divided by three is 26 and then 33. Divided by three is 11. Our final answer is w equals 26 divided by 11. And we could quickly check this by plugging in the values into a calculator. We're going to have three times and parentheses four times repairing to see it again. 26 divided by 11, which is our W minus five. And then for the right side of the equation, we're gonna have seven times parentheses. Nine minus three W, which is 26 about to pay 11. So we'll just take a calculator and multiply four times 26 divided by 11. Yeah, minus five times three. And we'll get some value roughly equal to 13.36 and then on the right side will do the same thing. So we're gonna multiply three times 26 divided by 11 and then we're gonna take nine minus the valley that we got and then multiply that by seven and we also get 30 13.36. But the n W equals 26 divided by 11.
