three x plus two five equals one tense. We're going to solve this equation for X to find out what X could be in this equation. So let's first little can make sure we don't have anything we have to simplify. On the left side of the equal sign, I have three X plus two fists. There's no light terms, so we're good on the left side. On the right side, I just have one tense. And since it's a soul peace, I have nothing to combine on the right side. So we're good as far simplifying. So let's go ahead and we want to get our X to the lift. We only have one term that has an X, and it's three X, and it's actually already on lift, so we need to start off by just subtracting two fists to move it over to the right side. Now, here we have a fraction, so we need to have a common denominator to subtract thes two fractions. So we have one tents and then we can have a common common denominator of TN to get five t and we're gonna multiply that times two. So five times two is 10 Negative. Two times two is negative. Four. So what we're actually going to be subtracting is one tense minus 4/10 and we're really just subtracting them one. And the negative four and one minus four is going to give May negative. Three tents and on the left side, we're going to bring our three x damn now here we have three times X and then we equals negative 3 10 So now we need to divide both sides three. Now, in order to when you have a fraction or to divide with fractions, your first fraction you're going to leave alone. We'll go ahead and bring down negative. Three tents were dividing by three. So that's the same is dividing by 3/1. When we divide by another fraction, we're gonna divide by its reciprocal. That means we're gonna flip the fraction. So instead, we're going is divide by one turned. So when I do that, I have negative three times. One is negative. Three, 10 times three is 30 and negative. 3/30 reduces Dale to negative one tent. So that means that X equals negative one 10
