So it's diving east at a distance 460 meters from its starting point. So this vector right here usar displacement vector and were asked to find the magnitude of that displacement vector. So if we were to graft this and an X and Y coordinate system where why is tthe e distance from the surface of the water right, his arm negative by. And this is our positive X. And otherwise you're Y distance, which is 7 50 negative. So if you were to put that in, you would get the square root of 4 60 squared, plus negatives and 50 squared. If you plug that into your calculator, you should get 879.8 about meters. That's your final answer.
