Technological innovations shift the production possibility curve. Look at graph you sketched forExercise 12.13 Which types of technologies should a country promote? Should “clean” technologies bepromoted over other technologies? Why or why not?
When there is technological development then there is possibility that focus of technology is juston increasing production without caring for increased pollution as well, while some technologicaladvancements promote environmental safety. These technologies promoting environmentalprotection are clean technologies. These technologies may not increase production much buthelp in reducing pollution. So, mostly these technologies are to be preferred comparativelybecause they give economy long-term help. But it has to be seen that clean technology shouldbe such that it should keep the economy productively optimal as well.

Should clean technologies be promoted over other types of technologies? Why or why not, and can he should promote cleoni technologies? This is because cleanings can be more efficient than other tatetechnologies as they produce less production and thus protect our environment. Kenitechnologie s usually use renewable sources of energy, whilst other types of technologies use man, renewable sources of energy such as gasolene take, for instance, titles, liquid cars and fourth dasolenecars testis cars, away, move faster energy, efficient and keener for the environment compared to fourth gasoline cars that Electric cars should be promoted. This explains why companies like posh and b and w are now promoting electric cars going into the future. Thank you, guys is helpful.
