we're being asked to graft equation two X plus three y equals not so. What we're going to want to do first is put this equation into slope intercept form, meaning we want to get live by itself. So the do that were first gonna move the two X term to the other side. So I'm going to subtract to wax from both sides of the equation because two x minus two x zero so they'll cancel out. So we'll be left with three y equals. Well, nine minus two acts are not like terms. So I'm gonna write this as negative two X plus nine. Now, to get why by itself, I need to divide the entire equation by three. So we'll be left with white equals negative 2/3 X plus three. Well, now our equation, this slow insult intercept form in the slope of this line is equal to negative 2/3 and the Y intercept of this line, it's positive. Three. So now we're okay to go ahead and graft this line. Well, a Y intercept tells us where our graph crosses the y axis because it's positive. Three starting at the origin. I'm gonna go up 3123 and put a plate. And this is the point where our graph will cost the Y axis will now are slope is negative 2/3. So starting from my y interest up, I'm gonna go down to and to the right three and that will be another point. The falls in my life Well, I can do this again. I can go down to and to the right three and that will also be a number of points on our life. I could have also, if I go back to the Y intercept instead of going down to into the right three, I could have gone up to and right three, and that would also be a point on our life. And now that we have a few points, we can simply go ahead and connect those points and graph our lives. I'm going to try and dry it minus street is possible. That wasn't too bad. So now we've graft the line two x plus three y equals nine
