we're being asked to graft the equation. Why equals negative 1/2 X plus two? Well, if you know this, this equation is slope intercept form. And remember, self intercept form is y equals MX plus B, where m is the slope and B is the y interest up? So for this particular problem, our slope is going to equal negative 1/2. And our why intercept, which all abbreviate Why dash i nt is positive too. So when we go to graph our line, we're always gonna start without why. Intercept, which tells us where aircraft crosses the Y axis, which remembers are further classes. So because our wind stepped is to starting from the origin I'm gonna go up to and make a point. Now we have a slope of negative 1/2 off. Remember, Slope is also referenced as rise over run. So in other words, we're gonna go from our wind this up. We're gonna go down one and two to the right, and we'll have another point that falls on our line and we can keep doing this. We can go down one and over too. We could have also starting from a Y interest up, do the opposite. Meaning we would go up one into the left, too up one and left, too. And now that we have multiple points on our line now we can graph our lives. I know my lines, not the straightest. But if you had a nice graft there, that would be a straight life.
