The $^{18} O :^{16} O$ abundance ratio in some meteorites is greater than that used to calculate the average atomic mass of oxygen on earth. Is the average mass of an oxygen atom in these meteorites greater than, less than, or equal to that of a terrestrial oxygen atom?
So, calculated average atomic mass of oxygen in meteorites is greater that of a terrestrial oxygen atom.

this question says that the ratio of oxygen 18 toe oxygen 16 is greater on meteorites than it is on Earth. So then is the average massive oxygen on meteorites greater than less than equal to the average mass of oxygen on Earth. And we know that the average mass oven element is calculated by multiplying the abundance of an isotope by the ice topic mass. So if the ratio is greater for oxygen 18 on meteorites, that on Earth that means that Oxygen 18 contributes more to the average mass on meteorites on Earth. Therefore, the average mass of oxygen on meteorites must be greater than the average mass on Earth. Average mass on meteorites is greater than the average mass on Earth.
