Hi, everyone.
00:01
Let's talk about problem 165 real quick.
00:04
It's a really straightforward problem, and i've already written down some answers, so let's just go over them.
00:08
So for part a, we need attribute data.
00:11
So i've written down hair color, eye color, and favorite food.
00:15
So what's special about all of these? well, they don't have a number assigned to them, right? people have like brown hair or blonde hair or blue eyes, black eyes, green eyes, whatever, or their favorite foods, pasta or something like that.
00:32
If someone asked me what my favorite food is, and i just say three, and it's not going to make sense to them.
00:38
But someone walks up to me and asks me my age, and i say 25, that does make sense because it's a numerical thing.
00:43
But you can be 25 and a half or weigh 200 pounds or be six feet tall.
00:55
But i can't walk up to someone and say i'm brown and a half for eye color, for hair color.
01:05
It just doesn't make sense...
