a. What chemical species keep $\mathrm{H}_{3} \mathrm{O}^{+}$ in blood at the appropriate $\mathrm{pH}$ ?
b. What condition results when there is an excess of $\mathrm{CO}_{2}$ in the blood?
c. What is hyperventilation and how does it affect blood pH?
