Is it the cuticle, the archegonium, the protonema, the stoma or the thallus? firstly, it's not the thallus, as this is actually the plant body of algae, fungi or other lower organisms, which just contains simple structures and has no specialised tissues.

However, it is found on the epidermis of leaves and it is a pore and it controls the rate of gas exchange.
