Use either the slope-intercept form (from Section 3.5) or the point-slope form (from Section 3.6) to find an equation of each line. Write each result in slope-intercept form, if possible.Slope $8,$ passes through $(2,20)$
$$y=8 x+4$$

we're being asked to write the equation of a line that has a slope of eight and passes through the point to 20. Well, whenever you write the equation of a line, we always need to find a slope first, which we have. However, because we're not given the y intercept, we need to use point slope form to write. The equation of this line will remember point slope form is why minus y someone equals m times X minus except one. Well, to use point slow firm, we first need to know the M value. Well, M stands for slope which were given its eight. Next, we need our ex of one and why so one value will remember that just represents an would repair on our line. But we're given the order peril in our line is two and 20. Therefore, we know except one. And why someone we now know the ex of one is equal to two and why someone is equal to 20. And now we're going to substitute these three values into our equation. So we're gonna have why minus y someone which is 20 equals M, which is eight times to quantity of X minus except one which is to now our directions tell us to write our equation and soap intercept form, meaning we have to get why by itself. To do that, we first have to distribute the eight tow both terms in our parentheses. So the left hand side of our equation will still stay. Why, minus 20 when we distribute the A, we're going to get eight times X, which is eight x and eight times negative, too. Is negative 16 now to get why by itself, we have to move the negative 20 to the other side of the equation. Well, to do that, we're going to add 20 to both sides. And when we do, we add it to it's like term, which is negative. 16. So on the left hand side, we have negative 20 plus 20 which is zero. So that cancels and we're just left with white equals. Well, we could bring that eight x turned down and then we have negative 16 plus 20 which is positive for and now we have our equation written and slope intercept form. It's why equals eight X plus four
