Use specific heat capacity to explain why metal keys left in the sun are hotter than a plastic pair of sunglasses left in the sun.
Because metals have a lower specific heat capacity than plastic, they experience a greater change intemperature when they absorb a specifi c amount of energy from sunlight. Plastics are composed oflarge molecules that require more energy to cause a rise in temperature than a metal does.

question Number five has A A concept very much related to the concept was discussed in question number four that being a substance with a low heat capacity is going to have the greatest change in temperature. Metals typically have low heat capacities because metals have low heat capacities than they typically have a large change in temperature. When energy safe from the sun is added to the metal, have low specific heat capacities, while something like plastic plastic typically has, ah, high heat capacity. There are many different types of plastics, but most plastics have high specific heat capacities. So if we were to take and leave a plastic plate out in the sun and we were to assumed, the same amount of energy would be applied to the plastic per gram as it would to the keys per gram. Because the metal keys have a lower specific heat capacity than plastic sunglasses dio, then the metal keys are typically going to fill warmer in the sun, Then the plastic sunglasses due. However, there's another phenomenon that is happening here when you touch plastic, so if you were to touch plastic here, then you would feel the heat associated with just that location because plastic is not very thermally conductive. However, if you were to touch a key here, you would actually feel a lot of the heat from more than that location, because the key is also thermally conductive, so metals typically fill warmer because the heat is transferred to you from more than one location than something like a plastic.

The number 2 is also the smallest & first prime number (since every other even number is divisible by two).
If you write pi (to the first two decimal places of 3.14) backwards, in big, block letters it actually reads "PIE".
