So in this problem we want to use standard and a piece of formation to find the delta h of reaction for these four reactions. And so we begin with to H to ask gas plus three o two gas what forms to H tuo liquid plus two s o to gas. And so first we can get the delta h not of formation of these four things. And so the delta h not a formation off H two s gas is negative twenty point six killed. Jules Pramono, the Delta h not a formation of O two gas is zero killer Jules Pramono. The Delta h not of formation of H tuo liquid is negative to eighty five point eight killing Jules Permal and the Delta H not of formation of S O to gas is negative to ninety six point eight killer Jules PRA mall. And so now that we have these, we confined the delta h of reaction by taking the delta h of the products minus the delta h of the reactant CE. And so that will be two times three Delta H for H two, a liquid negative to eighty five point eight plus two times the delta h not of s o to which is two ninety six point eight and then minus the ah ah react and still th which oh to zero and h two s. There's two of them minus twenty point six. And so when we combine all of these, we get our final answer to be negative. Eleven twenty four Killa Jules per mall. So this our final answer for letter, eh? No moving on to letter B. We now have the reaction Esso to gas plus one half o to gas form's s O three gas. And so again we write down all of the delta h not of formation. S O to gas is negative to ninety six point eight Killa Jules Pramono, The Delta h not of formation off. Oh two gas is zero and the delta H not a formation of S O three. Gas is negative. Three ninety five point seven Kill a Jules Permal and so we can do the same thing as in the previous problem. Adult h of reaction equals Delta H products minus delta H reactant ce. And in this case, they are all in a one to one ratio except for the O two, which is zero on so our products is negative. Three. Ninety five point seven and then minus our reactant ce negative two. Ninety six point eight. And that gives us a final answer of negative ninety eight point nine killer Jules Permal. So, as our final answer for letter B and moving on to letter C, we now have solid carbon plus H two o gas form's CEO gas plus H to gas. And so again we can list are delta H knots of formation. So off solid carbon it is zero of ah gashes ce water. It is negative to forty one point eight. Killer Jules Pramono, the Delta h not a formation of C O gas is negative one ten point five killer Jules PRA mon and the Delta H of formation of H two gas is zero and so now we can take our same approach. Our Delta h of reaction is Delta H products minus Delta H reactant ce. And so our products are negative one ten point five and then our reactant SAR negative to forty one point eight and so we get a final answer off Positive one. Thirty one point three. Kill a Jules Permal. And that's your final answer for letter C. Now, finally moving on to letter D. Our reaction this time is end to oh for gas plus for H to gas forms and two gas plus for H two o gas. And so will list are Delta Ages ofthe formation again, which the end to O four gas is negative or it's actually positive. Nine point one six Killer Jules Permal, The Delta h not a formation of R H two gas is zero. The Delta H formation of our end to gas is also zero, and the delta h not a formation off our H two o gas is is negative to forty one point eight. Killer Joe is primal. And so now we will do the same thing as in the prior three problems are adult. Age of reaction is equal to Delta H products minus Delta H reactant ce. And in this case, our products are four times the H two o and the P information to forty one point eight and then our reactant is just the end to oh, for everything else in this problem is zero and so doing this gives us adult age of reaction of nine. Seventy six point three six killed Jules Permal, and that is our final answer for letter.
