for the equation eight X plus four y is equal to negative 24. I just have to plug in a zero for the X because doing so will give me my wife intercept because we know that by definition of why intercept is when there's a zero for the X and then some. Why, Cornet and for the X intercept, there's an X and then a zero for the Y equipment. So if I do that, then you can see that this component will cancel out because zero turns anything is zero, and then I just have to divide both sides by four. To get that Y is equal to negative six. Then you'll have the 0.0 common negative six, which is my y intercept, as you can see. And then now we're gonna repeat that process, except I'm gonna do that with the why. So I'm gonna plug in a zero for the why, which means that I will be able to cancel out this component. So now I have X eight X is equal to negative three or negative 24. And then I'm gonna divide both sides of my equation by eight to get that X is equal to negative three. So now I have the coordinate point of negative three comma zero. So then I have both my ex Corn X intercept and my Y intercept. So when I go to graph it, I just have to put those points negative. Three comma zero is here. Zero common negative six is here. And so I just have to connect those two points here. Let's actually try that again. Connect them better and there's my life.
