Using Models Use the model given to answer the questions about the object or process being modeled.
The volume $V$ of a cylindrical can is modeled by the formula$$V=\pi r^{2} h$$where $r$ is the radius and $h$ is the height of the can. Find thevolume of a can with radius 3 in. and height 5 in.

So the problem gives us this model but says volume equals pi R squared H and tells us that the radius is three inches to the height is five inches and access to solve for the volume. So all we're going to do is plug in these values to our model and leave the V as a variable because that's what we're solving for. So our volume equals pi times r squared. So that's three squared Time's a tch, which is five. So all we have to do is multiply this out so we get our volume equals 45 pie and then we can't forget our units. So you know it's a volume are going to be cubic inches in this case, and there's our solution.
