In this video, we're going to talk about depression, specifically two different types of depression, and some reasons why we think that these two different types of depression might be linked to different genetic sources.

So first, we have early onset depression, which occurs before aged 30.

And second we have late onset depression which would happen later in life so around 45 to 50 years old and so some evidence that we have of different genetic sources have to do with relatives of the people who have these types of depression so people who have early onset have a high probability of relatives who have other disorders.

So these other disorders can range from things like anxiety and ocd to add, a large range of other disorders.
