Intra-industry trade is trade of goods of same industry happening between countries. One suchexample is when a country is importing and exporting goods of same industry like a countrywhich is both exporting and importing machines related to production of goods.

So, for example, USA USA imports and exports cars, so they produce and export the cars, they send it to another country and they also bring in cars from a different country.
