So we were asked the question What is the half life for the decomposition of Eno CEO when the concentration of N O. C. L is 0.15 mil. Aren t The question then gave us the great constant And it also told us that it was ah, second order reaction using that information I wrote down here, um, the half life equation for a second order reaction, which is t 1/2 equals one over our rate constant times the initial concentration of a reactive. Using the information that it gave us in the question I can rewrite this, um, plugging in the variables that it gave us, which, um is the rate constant which it told us was 8.0 times 10 to the negative eight, um, leaders Permal her second and then told us the initial concentration of our reactant, which is 0.15 molar ity. But I'm gonna write that as moles per leader. So it helps us cancel out some of our units here. And so you can see it cancels out, um, our units here and then we can rewrite this as ah, one over zero, uh, 8.0 times tend to the negative 81 over seconds multiplied by 0.15 Um, from there, I just put all of this into my calculator, and it gave us our answer, which is 8.3 times 10 to the seventh and this one over seconds on the bottom of your ah, fraction Just become seconds. And that is our answer for this question.
