all right, so this is a multiple choice type problem where it's a test prep situation. And so our goal is to find the average or mean of thes three values. And I know this looks kind of weird because there's letters now it's variables. But what we done throughout this entire lesson hasn't changed. The idea is there are three different values in this list. So that means when we add up all these values, remember, we add, uh, everything and divide by harmonies in list. So there's three technically in this list because they're all bundled up together. So we're gonna go ahead and do X plus one plus three X minds to keep it minus for that, too, plus two x minus five, all divided by three. So this is a situation where we're going to want to combine like terms. So we've got a one x of three x and two X. We add those up that gives us six X. Then we've got one negative to an 85 that's going to get me a minus six. And remember, this is studying divided by three. So when we're simplifying, we look at the big digits in front. And in this particular case, 6/3 in 6/3 each can be divided by a three. So I'm gonna get up to two X minus two, which happens to be a in a multiple choice options.
