What major events occurred during anaphase of mitosis? so before we go into each of the options, let's do a quick review of what anaphase is.

So anapphase is one of the stages of the m phase of the cell cycle.

So here we have cell division undergoing and the movements of chromatids are also seen.

And here, particularly, we have the kinetic cores and the spindle fibers in red, located at opposite sides of the cells, and each of them attached to a chromatid, which normally in mitosis in mitosis before anaphase, we would see, especially during metaphase, the connected chromosomes, so for example, these two would be connected at the center by a centromere, but during anaphaes, those are pulled apart, and the direction of motion in which they're pulled is indicated in orange.

So these four on the left are getting pulled towards this left kinetic core, and the four on the right are getting pulled towards the right.
