What phase changes will take place when water is subjected to varying pressure at a constant temperature of $0.005^{\circ} \mathrm{C} ?$ At $40^{\circ} \mathrm{C} ? \mathrm{At}-40^{\circ} \mathrm{C} ?$
Thus, phase transition of water takes place from gas to solid and then to water at very high pressure if the pressure is increased at constant temperature of $-40 \cdot \mathrm{C}$

So in this podcast we're taking a look at phase diagrams and essentially, these air just plots between our pressure on our temperature. They are used to summarize the conditions where different phases off substances can exist. So for example, we could take a look at the face diagram for water on DSO if we have a temperature off no point, no, no, five degrees Celsius. So initially, water is a gas at a very low pressure and as the pressure increases, it does become a solid. Now we father increase the pressure and then this leads to the formation off a liquid. So therefore the face transition of water takes place from gas to solid and then to water. If the pressure is increased, a constant temperature of no point No, not five degrees C. So next we can take a look at temperature is equal to 40 degrees C. And so initially, water again is a gas at a very low pressure on dso. As the pressure is increased, it becomes liquid on water never becomes a solid at this temperature for any pressure, as you can see from the graph. So the face transition of water takes place from gas to liquid if the pressure is increased at a constant temperature. Lastly, we have temperature negative 40 degree sina. And so the face transition of water takes place from gas to a solid and then to liquid a very high pressure. If the pressure is increased, A constant temperature of negative 40 degrees. Wow, what?
