Hey, everyone, this is question number 16 from Chapter 17. This problem we're given that your phone's create an intensity of four times 10 to the minus two, what's per meter squared and where has to find the sound intensity level in decibels. So 100 of the equation will be using our intensity equation that involves, um, decibels. And we have 10. Log I over. I not I not, of course, is our standard. Tend the minus 12 lots for meter squared. It's pretty basic question. All we have to do is plug in our numbers plug and Chuck. So 10 Log I four times 10 to the minus two watts per meter squared over 10 to the minus 12th wants per meter squared, and if you take that log and multiply by 10 you get 106 decibels.
