Today we'll be talking about chapter 12, question 27, which asks us to consider the ideal gas law, pv, equals n, r, t.

And we're asked to determine what exactly r is and what units is it usually expressed in.

And so r is the gas constant that relates units of pressure, volume, over moles, and temperature.

And so the units are generically, generically, pressure, volume over moles.

Now, there's a number of different units, different gas constants, and i prefer to use different ones depending on the units of the values given in the problem.
