all right, so it's not a couple of calculations here, so we're looking at the number more, um, metal Adam in the following comparison. So the 1st 1 looking at 10.0 grams of calcium versus can point zero grams of calcium chloride. So the 10 gram sample of calcium has a larger number of moles of calcium metal than the 10 gram sample of calcium chloride. And why is that? Because this is pure calcium and calcium. Chloride has two bowls of chlorine for each mole of, um, calcium in each molecule. Now, for the second comparison, we're looking at 5.0 grams of sodium chloride versus um, 5.0 grams of sodium fluoride. So the 5.0 grams of sodium fluoride should have, uh, the larger number of moles of sodium metal, then does the five grams of sodium chloride. And why is this because flooring is or has a lower molar mass than chlorine does, So five grams of sodium chloride should contain mawr atoms of sodium than does five grams of sodium chloride for the same mass of each sample, and third, we're looking at 2.0 grams of iron oxide f e o versus 2.0 grams of iron sulfide F E s. So sulphur is a heavier Adam, then oxygen is so that makes, um, iron oxide a lighter compound on a molar mass basis. Then Sodi, uh, iron sulfide. So that means we're gonna have a greater number of moles of iron oxide that iron sulfide for the same mass of each.
