So let's just kind of try to visualize in your head as I draw on the screen. I coordinate graph. So here we have our graph with our X axis and R Y axis our coordinates. We all are quadrants. We always start in the upper right hand corner and we go counterclockwise. So we have quadrant one, 100 to quadrant three and quadrant four. Now you can distinguish which quadrants each by the sign of my ex M i Y values. So for quadrant one, as we look at our X values are X values are to the right off the origin and that means that they are positive. So our X values in quadrant one are positive are why values are above the origin, which means that they are also positive. So in quadrant one are X and are why are both positive. In quadrant two, our X values are going to the left of the origin, which means they are now negative. So our X value is negative. Are why because it's still going up is positive. In Quadrant, three R X values were still going to the left, so they're negative and now are why values are going down from the origin, which now they are negative. So Quadrant three. But the X and the Y are negative. And finally we have quadrant four, where X values are positive because they're to the right of the origin and our why values are negative because they are below the origin.
