So this question asks us to write a balanced chemical equation to describe what happens as the color changes from yellow to red form Ethelred Indicator. So in the previous problem, E guess we just answered both eso I'll just review um, the general abbreviation for an indicator molecule is h i n. So, in a basic solution, we start with the indicator molecule represented here on the white board. H i n. It dissociates into hydrogen ions, an indicator, and ions which reflects yellow in acidic solution. The reverse happens, so we have hydrogen ions, an indicator and ions forming the indicator molecule represented as h i n. And that reflects red light. So we see a red color and there you have it.

If you write pi (to the first two decimal places of 3.14) backwards, in big, block letters it actually reads "PIE".
